What Is Affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing is the ad of getting paid if someone clicks a link on your website. This can be done either passively or actively.
Using Affiliate marketing can make your website one of the best visited as people tend to follow what they see in their feeds. For example, when a user is into books, they’ll scroll through your website quickly. So if your website has a book store section that offers $9 books at 10% off, people will quickly browse and take advantage of the low prices.
Building an affiliate program requires several things to get started including, hiring a creative person, hiring a marketer, and planning it out. As we know there are many ad platforms that can help with many marketing programs. From Facebook to Instagram, I have walked through these platform’s creative guidelines and it’s important to make sure your ad is on the right channel and also doesn’t create fake users. A good way to do this is to run all the tests you need to make sure your ads are being seen the way you want them to be seen.
We’re still not all past our first week of Google Adwords, but starting to see the benefits of the program is starting to settle in to our brains. If you want to start earning on the Google Ads program, make sure you are spending 100% of your ad spend on ads with good Google reviews (75% of those are for either “visible ads” or “open like ads”). This seems obvious but I’ve seen many people just start blindly placing ads that aren’t paying off. Now let’s understand what is considered a “good” app. First, if you have a trending app then make sure you are getting “official” reviews. Not every app will have a good review that’s why it’s so important to get verified reviews. You can increase your app’s reviews by covering the app in attractive media like links to a product page. This is called pre-app coverage, because its something that can be done beforehand for free. You can also make people think you have an app by making a video for your app and being creative with it.
Even though we’re looking at how to build your own website to attract followers, you want to go ahead and become a bigger user of social media. Remember back to Facebook ads when you saw friends making posts to remind you of something? That’s essentially what social media websites are doing now and it’s working. This means getting engaged fans/followers via sites like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Let’s make sure you sign up for a couple of Twitter and Reddit accounts where people know your web site, which is how you use the social media networks to get more followers. You’ll be able to see who’s paying attention to your web page (this is one of the best ways you can grow an audience). If you buy Facebook ads, make sure you ensure the ad auto-plays for everyone who is interested (not just your friends and family). You can find out if your ads are getting matched with the right people by checking your page’s Comments section. Comments with similar interests are great to look for if you’re interested. If you have different interests and people are flocking to the same page, there’s a strong possibility you’re getting a lot of people who have no interest in your topic.
Overall, in order to make it work and you have an amazing website, you need to be a smart marketer. For example, make sure you sell enough of the product because all advertisers will know that an product isn’t a good buy if the ad isn’t clearly stating what it is. If you want the ad to look familiar and aren’t even trying to sell something, just apply a low price. Be creative, be consistent, and be creative again. Now, I know these aren’t all advertising tips I’m giving you. But these are important to remember.
